Photos, stories, or employer brand - we got chu.

Photos you can feel + words that take you back.

P H O T O S
There are a lot of buzz words for the way we shoot. Buzz words can sound a bit wanky, but if we had to pick one, it’d be ‘photojournalistic’.
For brands, this means authentic, day-in-the-life pics of your people, doing their thang, in their space - what customers and prospective kaimahi really want to see.
For everyone else, it’s simply real life. We bring a camera, you do your thing, and you get rad photos of your favourite humans. (All the keepers - none of this “pick 10” baloney.)
PRICING: $550 per hour
W O R D S
Best served as a side dish to photos. You might want your love story for the wedding album, kaimahi stories to feature on your careers website, a summary of your whānau’s year to go out with the Christmas card, your birth story alongside newborn photos, or anything at all - if it’s true, we’re here to tell it. (And we know how to kōrero to get the best bits to share.)
Available essay-style, prose, short story, or even a cheeky bit of poetry - whatever floats your boat.
PRICING: Starts from $250

Let me know what you’re after.
We’ll kōrero & get to know each other.
I do the mahi, you get the treats!
“Working with Tash was an absolute joy. The energy and optimism she brings to her work is contagious. She has an inherent ability to connect - I’d work with her again in a heartbeat.”

FAQs
So … NO posing?
If you’d like to, of course we can take some intentional shots, but this is documentary photography first and foremost.
How does someone get started working with you?
Hit the Contact button, tell me a bit about what you have in mind, and if it sounds like a fit I’ll schedule some time for us to kōrero. (Or we can do it all via email or text if you’re too introverted / exhausted / whatever for that. I get it.)
Is pricing really that simple?
Yep - $550 per hour of shooting, plus travel if you’re more than 50 km from my home base in Muriwai (Auckland). I’ve booked photography before, I know how confusing it can be navigating different session fees and packages. I keep it simple with a clear hourly rate that’s inclusive of editing, admin, location scouting and all that jazz. To secure your date there is a 30% retainer, which is non-refundable so I’m happy to pencil your date in while you make a decision. (But you keep dibs - I’ll let you know if I receive any other enquiries for that date while you’re still deciding.)
How many photos do I get for that?
All the keepers. I’m not about that “pick 10, or you can pay more for extras” life. No disrespect to photographers who do, it’s just not my jam. 99% of the time I love everything I shoot and it feels like a waste of my art + your memories to bin the majority for the sake of some coin. (How many keepers we get depends on how long we shoot - as a rough idea, could be 50-100+ for family documentary; 400-700+ for a wedding. Whatever’s good is yours.)
What about with writing?
You’ll get the final edit to keep, in whatever version works for you. I’ll get a good understanding upfront of what you want, in what style, and will re-edit if it’s not bang-on what you dreamed of (although this isn’t usually an issue … not to toot my own horn or anything). For brands, my sweet spot is employer brand or anything telling your true story (the ‘salesy’ stuff doesn’t fill my cup). I’m best at writing about real people and events, with a touch of whimsy. Pricing differs depending what you’re after ($250+).
When and how will my goodies be delivered?
Photos are all yours via a private online gallery within 2-8 weeks (depending on length of your booking), available to download and share as many times as you wish. There’s an in-built print store if you want real-life fine art keepsakes (or I can help you with alternatives if budget is an issue). Writing can flex more (or less) depending on size of the project - once I learn more from you I’ll give an idea of timeframes.
Are you available outside of Auckland?
Yeah baby! And my travel costs are pretty reasonable. Let me know where you have in mind and I’ll give you a quote.
What if we need to change the date?
For photos, so long as I’m free then, your retainer will simply transfer to the new date. If I’m not free, I’ll have an appropriate associate shooter step in for me. (They shoot, I edit.) If you need to cancel altogether, I’ll do my best to fill your spot so I can return your $.

Got more questions?
Fire ‘em through (and remember, there’s no such thing as a dumb question).
